The Cottages on Wesleyan offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, giving residents the choice between daily support and a more self-directed lifestyle. Medical oversight includes diabetes management and access to a speech therapist. Residents who do not have dementia-related diagnoses can remain on campus as needs change, supported by licensed nursing personnel and coordinated therapy services.
Clinical staffing is anchored by an RN or LPN on site, with a nurse on call around the clock. Background-checked team members are awake through the night, and every apartment is equipped with pull cords and optional personal emergency response systems that alert staff immediately. On-site clinicians provide occupational, physical, and podiatry services, handle medication management, and coordinate hospice or incontinence care when required. Full assistance is available with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and ambulatory or mobility support can be added as needed.
Most residences feature a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable, housekeeping, and scheduled laundry service, although not every unit includes every item. Spaces are designed for straightforward accessibility, and housekeeping schedules can be adjusted to match individual preferences.
Three meals a day are prepared on site, with no-sugar options and an all-day dining program that allows residents to eat on their own timetable. Guest meals can be arranged with advance notice, and staff members monitor nutritional plans to ensure that medical or personal dietary restrictions are met.
Residents have access to parking, a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, internet, communal gardens, concierge services, and a library. Pets are allowed. It's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
