Harbor at Harmony Crossing provides two levels of senior care: Assisted Living and Memory Care. Licensed nurses and trained caregivers are on duty around the clock to handle medication administration, health monitoring, and coordination with each resident’s physicians. In Assisted Living, staff members help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility while encouraging as much independence as possible. The Memory Care neighborhood is secured and staffed by professionals trained in dementia-specific techniques, including redirection, behavior observation, and structured cognitive activities designed to slow the progression of memory loss.
Beyond direct medical services, the community arranges on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy through outside providers, and it schedules transportation for off-site medical appointments. Each resident receives an individualized care plan that is reviewed regularly and adjusted when health needs change. Emergency call systems are monitored continuously, and routine wellness checks, fall-prevention programs, and coordination with hospice or home-health agencies are available when clinically appropriate.
Residents choose from studio or one-bedroom apartments in Assisted Living and private or companion suites in Memory Care. Every layout includes a private bathroom with walk-in shower, basic cable, and individual climate controls, while select units add kitchenettes, extra storage, or patio access; not all accommodations have all the features. Weekly housekeeping, linen service, and maintenance are provided, and pets are allowed in designated areas subject to community guidelines. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
The culinary team serves three daily meals in a communal dining room, with menus designed by a dietitian to meet nutritional guidelines and physician-ordered modifications such as low-sodium, diabetic, or mechanical-soft diets. Memory Care residents receive additional cueing and adaptive utensils as needed, and snacks and beverages are available throughout the day to support hydration and stable blood sugar. Residents may request tray service during short-term illness, and family members are welcome to join for meals with advance notice. Menu variety is updated regularly, although not every dining option or seating arrangement is offered in all areas of the community.
