Blue Ridge Assisted Living delivers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programs designed for residents who wander in the morning or evening, are at risk of elopement, require wound care or oxygen management, or manage diabetes with oral medication. The community is prepared to serve residents with advanced dementia and other complex cognitive conditions, and its memory support program is set up to recognize and respond quickly to changes in behavior or health status.
Daily clinical oversight includes an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on call around the clock, and an awake night shift. Staff can provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and can complete walker, wheelchair, standby, one-person, or two-person transfers as needed. On-site professionals include occupational and physical therapists, a podiatrist, a dentist, and hospice services. The grounds are secured with 24-hour staffing, a fenced rear area, and pull-cord alerts in resident rooms to help minimize wandering and elopement risks.
Apartments are offered in several layouts, some with private bathrooms. Routine housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are available, though not every unit includes every feature, so families should confirm specific details during a visit.
Residents receive three meals each day, with kosher and vegetarian choices available in addition to the standard menu. The dining team can work with clinical staff to adjust textures, portion sizes, and timing to meet physician-ordered dietary requirements.
Community amenities include wheelchair-accessible common areas, an exercise room, movie room, barber and beauty shop, and concierge services. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
