Aston Gardens At The Courtyards offers Assisted Living, Independent Living and a secured Memory Care program on one campus in Sun City Center. Residents who wander or are at risk of elopement can be accommodated day and night, and the staff is trained to redirect individuals who are awake throughout the night. Caregivers support special diets and both oral-med and insulin-dependent diabetics, and the community accepts residents with advanced dementia conditions.

Clinical coverage is reinforced by an RN/LPN on staff, 24-hour awake caregivers, and pull-cord and door-alarm systems throughout the building. Residents have on-site access to nurses, medication management, dentists, podiatrists and therapy disciplines, and the Memory Care neighborhood is laid out specifically to ease way-finding. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating and toileting, and staff perform standby, one-person, walker or wheelchair transfers as needed.

Apartments may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable service and the option to repaint or decorate, although not every unit has every feature. Daily meals are served restaurant-style from a set menu with on-order options, and snacks are available around the clock. Diets can be modified for diabetes, low sodium and other physician-ordered restrictions.

Independent Living residents can add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry and a monthly meal plan to fit their own routines while retaining maximum autonomy.

Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair accessibility, a salon/barber shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access, library, swimming pool, screened patios or balconies, special-interest clubs and scheduled transportation.
