Heron Club at Prestancia provides two levels of residential healthcare—Assisted Living and Memory Care. Both programs are designed to support residents who wander during the day or night and those at risk for elopement, including individuals living with advanced dementia conditions. A licensed nurse (RN or LPN) is on staff, background checks are conducted on all employees, and a full-time activities director plans daily therapeutic engagement tailored to each care level.
Residents have access to a broad range of on-site medical services such as hospice coordination, medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, routine nursing oversight, optometry, dentistry, podiatry, and physical therapy. Apartments and common areas are adapted for memory support, and staff can deliver full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Mobility needs are met with standby supervision, one-person transfers, or help with walkers and wheelchairs as required.
Accommodation options include private or companion suites outfitted with cable service, regular housekeeping, and scheduled laundry. Feature availability can vary by unit, so prospective residents and families should verify which services are included in the specific apartment under consideration.
Dining follows an all-day model with restaurant-style service, and meals can be taken in the main dining room, a private dining space, or delivered to the resident’s apartment. A professional chef and dietary team prepare meals that accommodate low- or no-sodium needs, no-sugar options, and other physician-ordered modifications. Healthy snacks are available throughout the day, and special dining programs are offered to support residents with cognitive or physical challenges.
Heron Club’s common-area amenities include wheelchair-accessible paths, a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, internet access, communal gardens, and a library. Scheduled transportation is provided for medical appointments, errands, and community outings.
