HarborChase of Sarasota offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, giving residents access to individualized support plans that can adapt as needs change. The community is equipped to manage complex memory‐related conditions, including advanced dementia, and has protocols in place for residents who wander during the day or night or who exhibit elopement risk. Oxygen management is also available, allowing residents who require supplemental oxygen to remain on campus without disruption to their routines.
Round-the-clock medical oversight is delivered by on-site RNs and LPNs, backed by 24-hour nursing coverage, routine background checks for all employees, and a secured environment with alarmed doors and a fenced rear area. A dedicated therapy room supports on-site rehabilitation services. Staff provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they are trained to perform a wide range of transfers—from standby assistance to two-person lifts—for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs.
Apartments can be tailored to individual preferences, and while features vary by floor plan, options include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent climate controls, and cable connections. Residents may personalize their space with paint and décor, and housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided by the community.
Meals are prepared to order, and snacks are available throughout the day. A private dining room is set aside for family visits or special occasions, allowing residents to enjoy a quieter meal in a more intimate setting.
Residents have access to parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, communal gardens, an exercise room, a wellness center, a movie room, a barber/beauty shop, a library, special-interest clubs, on-site religious services, concierge support, and internet access. Scheduled transportation, including a community TowneCar service, helps residents attend medical appointments or local outings. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
