Rosie’s Place Assisted Living is a residential care home designed to manage a wide range of medical needs common to older adults and some younger residents. The team is experienced with residents who wander or present elopement and other behavioral issues, and it supports individuals living with advanced dementia. Oxygen support, specialized diets, and diabetic management—whether oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale insulin—are all available. On-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses, allowing most health needs to be handled in one setting.
Daily care is delivered by an RN or LPN and round-the-clock direct-care staff. The building is secured with 24-hour staffing, door alarms, a fenced rear area, and a personal emergency response system that alerts staff when help is needed. Residents who need help bathing, eating, dressing, or toileting receive full assistance, and the team is trained to manage transfers ranging from simple standby to one- or two-person lifts for wheelchair users. These measures combine to provide constant oversight and immediate response to changes in condition.
Private and semi-private rooms are offered, and many include en-suite bathrooms, basic furnishings, and cable service; residents who prefer a personal touch may paint or decorate their space, subject to availability. Because not every room has every feature, families are encouraged to confirm specific amenities during a tour.
Meals are provided three times a day with two service styles: a set menu for straightforward dining and an on-order option for residents who want more choice. Snacks are available between meals, and the kitchen accommodates physician-ordered diet modifications, including diabetic, low-sodium, and texture-altered plans.
Residents have access to on-site parking, Wi-Fi throughout the building, smoking areas outside, and fully wheelchair-accessible common spaces. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments or local errands, helping residents stay connected with the wider Port Saint Lucie community.
