Shangri-La Alf LLC delivers licensed Assisted Living care and can continue serving residents as needs become more complex. The community accepts individuals who wander at any time of day, those at risk for elopement, residents with behavioral concerns, complex wound needs, oxygen therapy requirements, specialized diets, diabetes management by oral medication or insulin injections, and persons under 60 who need support. Care teams are trained to work with advanced dementia, allowing residents to remain on campus even as cognitive decline progresses.

Clinical coverage includes an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call around the clock. All employees undergo background checks, and night-shift caregivers remain awake. A secure environment with fenced outdoor areas, door alarms, and optional Wander Guard helps reduce exit risk. On-site podiatry services are available, and the community accepts residents with ongoing psychiatric diagnoses. Direct care staff provide full assistance with bathing, eating, and dressing, plus limited hands-on help with toileting. Transfer aid ranges from standby supervision to two-person lifts, and equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs is accommodated.

Private and semi-private rooms may feature en-suite bathrooms, basic furnishings, individually controlled cable service, and the option for residents to paint or decorate their own space; not every unit includes every feature, so touring specific rooms is advised. Common areas are fully wheelchair accessible, and maintenance handles routine repairs so residents can focus on daily life.

Meals are offered through a rotating set menu, with the option to order alternatives at each sitting. Snacks are available between meals, and staff can adjust textures, portion sizes, and nutrient content to meet diabetic, low-sodium, or other physician-ordered diet plans. Independent-living residents who choose to live on campus receive medication-management monitoring to ensure prescriptions are taken correctly while maintaining as much autonomy as possible.

Amenity spaces include outdoor smoking areas, a barrier-free layout for wheelchair users, an on-site barber and beauty salon, a dedicated movie room, reliable internet access, landscaped communal gardens, and regularly scheduled religious services held in the building.
