Savannah Court of Orange City is an assisted-living community that concentrates on comprehensive medical support. In addition to daily assisted-living services, the community is equipped for respite stays, short-term stays, diabetes care, and a structured mental-wellness program. Residents with advancing dementia can remain on campus, and care plans can include medication management, incontinence services, ambulatory assistance, and hospice coordination. On site, residents have access to nurses, a physician, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as a podiatrist. Direct assistance is offered for bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and staff can accommodate mobility needs ranging from standby support to one- and two-person transfers, as well as walker and wheelchair use.
Care delivery is supported by an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on call 24 hours a day, and an awake night shift. All employees undergo background checks, and the building maintains 24-hour security with staff on site. A dedicated activity director coordinates daily programming, and each apartment is equipped with a pull-cord system that alerts staff when help is needed.
Apartments are designed for ease of use and safety. Some residences offer private bathrooms, while others share common facilities; select units include kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, and cable service. Not every apartment features every option, so prospective residents should review layouts during a tour.
Meals follow an assisted-living dining model with table service in the community dining room. Staff can accommodate physician-ordered diet modifications and provide snacks throughout the day to help manage blood sugar or meet personal eating schedules.
Residents have access to on-site parking, outdoor smoking areas, a beauty and barber shop, a wellness center, internet connectivity, and wheelchair-accessible common areas. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments and errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
