The Gallery at North Port delivers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—within the same campus. Residents with mild dementia can remain onsite as their needs change, and those managing diabetes with oral medications receive routine monitoring and support.
Registered and licensed nurses are on duty around the clock, backed by additional awake night-shift staff, routine background checks, and a 24-hour security presence. A personal emergency response system instantly alerts staff, and a therapy room is available for on-site rehabilitation services. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they accommodate a range of mobility needs, including walker and wheelchair use, standby supervision, one-person transfers, and two-person transfers.
Apartments may feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, individual climate controls, cable service, and scheduled housekeeping and laundry, although not every unit includes every amenity. Independent Living residents receive housekeeping and personal laundry on a scheduled basis to minimize daily chores while preserving autonomy.
Meals are offered through a rotating set menu as well as made-to-order options, with snacks available throughout the day. Residents can dine in the main restaurant-style venue, request in-room service, or reserve a private dining room for family visits. The culinary team supports a wide range of dietary modifications, including gluten-free selections, mechanical-chopped or puréed textures, thickened liquids, and vegetarian meals.
The community offers resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty salon, fitness room, movie theater, internet access, communal gardens, concierge services, a library, and a swimming pool. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments, shopping, and local events. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
