East Ridge Retirement Village offers residents three levels of care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—in a single campus. Independent Living residents have routine health monitoring and priority access to higher levels of support if needs change. Assisted Living residents receive help with activities of daily living, scheduled medication management, and regular wellness checks from licensed nurses. The Memory Care neighborhood is designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and includes secured areas, structured daily routines, and caregivers trained in dementia-specific interventions.
Beyond the basic levels of care, the community maintains nursing staff on-site around the clock, coordinates on-site physician visits, and arranges physical, occupational, and speech therapy as ordered. Residents have access to emergency response systems in their living spaces, and care plans are reviewed regularly to adjust for changes in health status. The community also offers transportation to outside medical appointments and works closely with local hospitals and specialists to streamline continuity of care.
Residences range from studios to multi-bedroom floor plans, some with patios or balconies that open to landscaped outdoor areas where residents can garden or relax. Units are equipped with safety features such as grab bars and step-in showers; some include kitchenettes, washer-dryer hookups, and extra storage, though not all accommodations have all of these features. Housekeeping and maintenance are provided, and residents can personalize their space with their own furniture and décor.
Meals are prepared by an on-site culinary team that offers three daily dining periods in a central dining room, with optional take-out or room service for those who prefer to eat in their own residence. Menus rotate regularly and accommodate physician-ordered diets such as low-sodium, diabetic, or pureed textures. Nutritional staff confer with residents about preferences, and snacks are available throughout the day. Special holiday meals and themed dinners provide additional variety.
Residents can spend time in the Activity Center, which hosts exercise classes, arts programs, discussion groups, and social events. Scheduled transportation, routine housekeeping, linen service, and maintenance are included in the monthly fee, and concierge staff help coordinate appointments and community outings.
