Superior Residences of Lecanto is a memory-care–only community equipped to serve residents with all stages of dementia, including advanced conditions. The team is prepared to manage wandering at any hour, elopement risk, combative or other challenging behaviors, and residents who remain awake throughout the night. Clinical capabilities extend to wound care, oxygen therapy, special diet administration, and diabetes management—whether by oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. The community also accepts residents under 60 years old who need memory support.
Registered and licensed nurses are on staff to oversee medication management and clinical monitoring. On-site medical services include incontinence and ambulatory care, occupational and physical therapy, podiatry, and ongoing nursing assessments, all delivered within a secured memory care environment. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting and offer partial assistance with eating. Transfer help ranges from standby support to one-person transfers for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs.
Accommodations are available in multiple layouts, with some rooms designated as pet friendly and others offering direct access to secured outdoor areas. On-site parking is provided for residents who still drive or for visiting family members. Not all accommodations feature every option, so it is best to confirm availability and specifics during a personal tour.
Meals are prepared on site and served in a communal dining room. Standard and vegetarian selections are offered, and the kitchen adapts menus to physician-ordered diets for diabetes, cardiac concerns, or other medical needs.
A barber and beauty shop is located on the premises, allowing residents to keep regular grooming appointments without leaving the community.
