Residents who choose Assisted Living receive help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication reminders while still maintaining as much independence as possible. The Memory Care program is designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, offering a secure environment and structured routines that reduce confusion and promote engagement.

Medical oversight at the community is continuous. Licensed nurses are on-site to monitor health conditions, coordinate medications, and respond to changes in a resident’s status. Short-term respite stays are available for those who need temporary support following a hospital visit or when at-home caregivers are unavailable. The community also arranges hospice services for residents who require end-of-life care, and it maintains a professional relationship with Alton Memorial Hospital for additional medical resources and consultations.

Accommodations include studio and efficiency apartments, each equipped with basic safety features such as grab bars and emergency call systems. Some residences look out onto landscaped grounds or open directly to outdoor areas, and residents have shared access to a library and computer lounge for quiet reading or online activities. Because floor plans vary, not every accommodation includes every listed feature.

Meals are prepared on-site three times a day, and menus are adjusted to meet individual dietary restrictions such as low-sodium or diabetic requirements. Between meals, residents can pick up healthy snacks to maintain energy and blood-sugar balance. Staff members monitor intake for those who need nutritional oversight and will collaborate with healthcare providers when specialized diets are prescribed.
