Village Veranda at Lady Lake provides two levels of licensed care. Residents who choose Assisted Living receive help with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and medication reminders, with a nurse on-site around the clock for clinical oversight and urgent needs. The Memory Care program serves individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia in a separate, secured setting. Caregivers who have been trained in dementia support techniques are available 24/7, and the program includes structured daily routines, behavior monitoring, and medication administration to help reduce confusion and anxiety.
Additional medical support features include individualized service plans that are reviewed regularly, coordination with outside physicians and therapy providers, and scheduled transportation to local medical appointments. Health monitoring such as blood pressure checks, weight tracking, and fall-risk assessments are built into the resident’s plan. The community also offers rehabilitation services through third-party providers, hospice coordination when appropriate, and on-site access to basic lab work and pharmacy deliveries to limit off-site travel for routine care.
Accommodations range from studio to two-bedroom apartments in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. Depending on the floor plan, features may include kitchenettes, walk-in showers with grab bars, emergency call systems, individual climate controls, and ample closet space, but not all accommodations have every feature listed. Housekeeping, personal laundry, and maintenance are provided on a scheduled basis, and residents can furnish their space with personal belongings to create a familiar environment.
Residents are offered three meals a day served restaurant-style in the main dining room, with alternate selections and snacks available at any time. The culinary team prepares menus that meet nutritional guidelines and can accommodate specialized diets such as low-sodium or diabetic requests. A smaller dining area is available within the Memory Care neighborhood to support those who benefit from a quieter setting and additional cueing. Families are welcome to join their loved ones for meals, and private dining space can be reserved for special occasions.
