Sunshine Living ALF is licensed for assisted living and is equipped to serve residents who need routine help with daily activities as well as targeted medical oversight. Staff members can manage care for residents who wander, require special diets, are under 60 years old, or take oral diabetes medications. Mild dementia is within the community’s scope, and registered or licensed practical nurses are on staff to monitor conditions and coordinate with outside physicians as needed. All employees undergo background checks, a night-shift team remains on duty even while asleep on site, and 24-hour security ensures continual supervision.

Residents have access to on-site podiatry visits, reducing the need for outside appointments. Direct personal-care services cover full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from simple standby supervision to one-person physical transfers, and walkers or wheelchairs are both supported. Continuous staffing allows these services to be delivered whenever required, and documentation is maintained to track each resident’s changing needs.

Housing options include rooms that may feature a private bathroom, furnishings, and cable service, though not every room contains every feature. Prospective residents can review the available layouts during a tour to determine the best fit.

Meals follow a set menu designed to accommodate physician-ordered diets, and snacks are offered between scheduled dining periods. Staff are available in the dining area to provide full assistance to any resident who needs help with eating.

Outdoor smoking areas are designated for residents who smoke, allowing them to do so without leaving the property while maintaining indoor air quality for nonsmokers.
