Good Samaritan – Windsor – Water Valley offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care in a single setting. The community is equipped to manage residents who wander during either the day or night, need oxygen support, or remain awake overnight. Residents with advanced dementia can remain on campus as their condition progresses, reducing the need for disruptive moves. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on site, with 24-hour nurse availability on call to handle changes in condition, medication questions, or urgent concerns.
Care delivery is supported by background-checked staff who remain awake on the night shift and by a secured environment that includes perimeter fencing, 24-hour staffing, in-room pull cords, and optional personal emergency response systems. An activity director coordinates daily programming. On-site audiology and dental clinics reduce the need for outside appointments. Staff can assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting when a resident needs some physical help, and they are trained in multiple transfer techniques ranging from standby support to one-person transfers for residents who use walkers or wheelchairs.
Residences vary in layout and features. Some apartments include a private bathroom, a kitchenette for light meal preparation, in-unit laundry, independent temperature controls, and cable service; others offer scheduled laundry service and housekeeping only. Not all accommodations have all features, so prospective residents should confirm specific layouts and amenity packages during a tour.
Meals follow a set menu prepared by the culinary team, with snacks available between meals. A private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings or special occasions, and staff can accommodate dietary modifications within the set menu guidelines.
The campus provides resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, library, communal gardens, internet access, on-site religious services, concierge assistance, and various special-interest clubs. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments through a community shuttle. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
