Lincoln Meadows Senior Living offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care under one roof, allowing residents to transition between levels of support without leaving the community. Care plans address advanced dementia and related behaviors such as wandering in the morning or evening, elopement risk, combativeness, and other behavioral issues. Nurses can also manage wound care, oxygen therapy, and diabetes controlled by oral medication, and the community is licensed to admit residents under 60 years old when appropriate.
Care delivery is backed by an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on call 24/7, awake night-shift caregivers, and a security team present at all hours. All employees undergo background checks. Residents have in-room pull cords and personal emergency response systems that alert staff. On-site medical services include podiatry, audiology, dental care, therapy space for rehabilitation, and acceptance of psychiatric diagnoses. Staff can give full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, provide some help with meals, and perform transfers using walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, or a one-person lift.
Apartments may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable, and the option to paint or decorate, but not every unit has every feature. Some layouts provide in-unit laundry, while others rely on scheduled laundry service. Routine housekeeping is available, and Independent Living residents can choose a lighter housekeeping and laundry package.
Dining services offer both a set menu and made-to-order items, with snacks available throughout the day. A private dining room is available for family meals. The kitchen staff can accommodate diet modifications such as mechanical-chopped foods, thickened liquids, and vegetarian selections. Independent Living residents may purchase a monthly meal plan that matches their desired number of daily meals.
Residents can use on-site parking, smoke in designated outdoor areas, and keep pets; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Common spaces include a wheelchair-accessible exercise room, movie room, wellness center, barber/beauty shop, library, and communal gardens. Internet access, special-interest clubs, concierge services, and on-site religious services are also available. Scheduled transportation, including medical-only shuttle service, helps residents reach appointments and local shops.
