Brookdale Greenwood Village provides both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programming designed to manage complex conditions. The community is prepared for residents who wander during the day or at night, are at risk for elopement, show combative or other behavioral concerns, stay up all night, need wound care, rely on oxygen, or require special diets. Adults under 60 are accepted, and diabetes care is available for those on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale regimens. Support extends to advanced dementia conditions.
An RN or LPN is on site, and a nurse is on call around the clock. All team members pass background checks, and an awake night staff monitors residents continuously. Emergency pull cords and personal response systems alert staff immediately, and 24-hour security is in place. Podiatry visits are provided on site, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Caregivers offer full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from standby help with walkers to one- or two-person transfers, Hoyer-lift transfers, and bed-bound care.
Apartments may feature a private bathroom, kitchenette, individual climate controls, cable, and the option to paint or decorate; not every unit includes every feature. Housekeeping is provided, and maintenance addresses routine upkeep.
Meals follow a set menu served in the dining room, and snacks are available throughout the day. The kitchen staff accommodates physician-ordered diet modifications, special diets, and texture adjustments as needed.
Resident parking, wheelchair accessibility, an exercise room, wellness center, barber/beauty shop, library, internet access, communal gardens, and on-site religious services are available. Scheduled transportation and nearby public transit make off-campus travel easier. Pets are allowed; it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
