Good Samaritan Society – Fox Run offers two primary care options. Residents who are largely independent can choose the independent-living program, while those living with dementia receive specialized support designed to address memory-related needs. Both care levels share access to on-site staff, and care plans are adjusted to match each resident’s clinical profile, daily routines, and physician directives.
Staff are reachable through in-room pull-cord alerts, allowing residents to summon assistance at any time. Team members can help with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting when these tasks are no longer fully self-managed. For mobility, caregivers can assist residents who use walkers, ensuring safe transfers between bed, chair, and bathroom. The emphasis is on maintaining personal safety and preventing avoidable hospital visits.
Private and semi-private accommodations are available, and residents may be able to paint or otherwise decorate their rooms to suit personal tastes. Cable service can be installed, and routine housekeeping is offered, although not every unit includes every feature, so families should confirm availability when touring.
Daily meals are served in a central dining space, with a set menu covering standard options and an on-order component for those who need or prefer something different. Independent-living residents can opt into a monthly meal plan, or they may choose to prepare some of their own meals. Housekeeping and laundry services are also offered to independent-living residents, reducing the need to manage these chores on their own and supporting a maintenance-free lifestyle.
Community amenities include a fully wheelchair-accessible layout, an on-site barber and beauty shop, and an exercise room for strength and balance work. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
