Serento Rosa provides Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care under one roof, allowing residents to move between levels of support without leaving the community. The team is equipped to manage residents who wander during the day or night, have elopement risk, exhibit combative or other behavioral issues, stay up all night or require special diets. Advanced dementia conditions are accepted, and staff can oversee diabetic care whether oral medication, injections or sliding-scale insulin is needed. The community also admits residents under 60, delivers oxygen management and performs wound care.
Registered and licensed nurses are on site around the clock, backed by an on-call nurse for added coverage. All employees pass background checks, night staff remain awake, and the building features door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, WanderGuard technology, pull cords and PERS devices to alert staff quickly. A podiatrist visits regularly, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Full assistance is available with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting, and transfer help ranges from standby with a walker to two-person or full Hoyer lift support for bed-bound residents. An activity director and 24-hour security staff complete the care infrastructure.
Private and companion suites are offered; some include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature control, cable service and the option to paint or decorate the room. Not every unit has every feature, so families should verify availability when touring. Common areas are wheelchair accessible, and maintenance handles utilities and repairs.
Meals are prepared on site with an option to order alternatives at each service. Snacks are available throughout the day and the kitchen accommodates physician-ordered or preference-based diet modifications. Independent Living residents may add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service and a monthly meal plan to fit their routines.
Residents can park their own cars, smoke outside in designated areas, visit the barber and beauty shop, work out in the exercise room, watch films in the movie room, attend programs in the wellness center, use the internet, stroll communal gardens and join on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation is provided, and the campus sits near public transit stops. Pets are allowed; it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
