Atria Valley View offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, giving residents the option to match services to their current needs and adjust as circumstances change. Clinical attention is available for special dietary requirements, adults under 60 who need a supportive setting, and residents managing diabetes with oral medications. Mild dementia is accommodated, with access to a memory‐support environment that emphasizes safety and routine while allowing as much independence as possible.
The community keeps a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse on staff, conducts background checks on team members, and maintains awake caregivers during the night. Residents have pull-cord and personal emergency response systems that alert staff around the clock. On-site medical services range from routine nursing visits and medication management to diabetic oversight, incontinence care, hospice coordination, and a cognitive learning center for ongoing engagement. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, and toileting, while dining is set up for self-feeding. Transfer help covers walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, and one-person lifts whenever needed.
Suites are offered with a mix of features that can include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, individual climate controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate—though not every unit carries every feature, so prospective residents should verify specific layouts. Independent Living residents may choose lighter services while having access to the same apartment configurations, allowing couples or individuals to age in place within the same campus.
Meals are served from a set menu or cooked to order, with snacks available throughout the day and modifications made for doctor-prescribed diets. Independent Living participants can add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, and a monthly meal plan, selecting only the supports that make daily life easier while keeping control over their routines.
Amenities include resident parking, outside smoking areas, pet acceptance, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, campus-wide internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, balconies or patios, a full-service grille, an outdoor grill with patio dining, a library, escort and transfer assistance, massage therapy, a walking trail, a general store, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
