The Lodge at Glen Cove delivers two primary levels of support: Assisted Living for residents who need help with activities of daily living and Memory Care for those facing Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Both programs are designed to adapt to changing needs, allowing residents to remain in the same community even as care requirements increase.
Medical oversight is a priority. The secured community is staffed to manage diabetes care and provide regular access to a speech therapist. On-site clinical services include medication management, physical and occupational therapy, ambulatory and incontinence care, and specialized Memory Care interventions. These services are coordinated to reduce outside appointments and to maintain continuity between daily routines and clinical treatments.
Apartments are available in several layouts, all of which are equipped with basic safety features; some also include perks such as pet-friendly policies, Wi-Fi, cable or satellite television, outdoor sitting areas, and resident parking. Because floor plans vary, not every unit contains every feature, so prospective residents should confirm specifics during a tour.
Meals are prepared fresh each day, with options for international dishes, organic selections, gluten-free alternatives, low- or no-sodium plates, no-sugar desserts, vegan entrées, and an all-day dining menu. Restaurant-style table service is standard, and meals are included in the monthly fee.
Residents have access to an activity center, a library with computer lounge, indoor and outdoor walking paths, and a swimming pool. Structured programs include clubs, Montessori-based activities, reminiscence and sensory sessions, intergenerational events, fitness classes, and regular social outings.
