Covenant Living at Mount Miguel offers three levels of residency—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Independent Living residents manage their own schedules with the safety net of on-site clinical resources. Assisted Living residents receive help with activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, along with transfer support for walkers and wheelchairs. Memory Care is available for those who need structured support but the community does not accommodate advanced dementia conditions. Medical oversight includes oxygen administration, special diet management, and diabetic care for both oral medications and insulin injections.
Around-the-clock clinical coverage underpins all care levels. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on staff at all times, and an awake night-shift nurse is available for urgent needs. Door alarms, pull-cord systems, and personal emergency response devices link residents directly to staff, while 24-hour security personnel provide an added layer of safety. On-site services range from hearing and speech therapy to podiatry, pain management, dental care, wound care, occupational therapy, and diabetic clinics. Residents and families can also access counseling and the broader continuing-care resources offered on campus.
Living quarters vary by layout and feature set. Some units include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, in-unit laundry, and independent temperature controls; others provide a subset of these conveniences. Residents may paint or otherwise personalize their space, and housekeeping is available for all apartments.
Dining follows a flexible model. A set menu is offered each day, but on-order selections and snacks are available throughout the day. A private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings, and the culinary team accommodates physician-ordered diets as well as resident preferences.
Amenities are geared toward maintaining a full daily schedule. The campus includes resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, and is wheelchair accessible throughout. Pets are allowed; it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Additional features include a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, a wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge support, a library, pool, and several resident-run special-interest clubs.
