Covenant Living at the Samarkand offers three levels of residency—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—so residents can select or transition to the amount of everyday support they need. Licensed nurses oversee routine health monitoring, and the campus arranges physical therapy and respite services for short-term recovery or caregiver relief. Diabetes management programs are in place for residents who require regular glucose checks, medication monitoring, and dietary adjustments.
The community maintains an extensive roster of on-site medical services designed to limit the need for outside appointments. Residents have access to hospice and palliative oversight, hearing and podiatry clinics, speech and occupational therapy, dental care, pain management, wound care, incontinence support, ambulatory care, and nurse availability around the clock. These services are coordinated with primary physicians to keep care plans current and to address changes in condition promptly.
Housing options range from studio and efficiency apartments to larger master suites. Some residences open directly to landscaped outdoor areas or a secured garden, while housekeeping and laundry services are included for all units. Because layouts and upgrade packages differ, not every apartment contains every feature, so prospective residents are encouraged to confirm specific amenities during a tour.
Daily meals are prepared on site, and the culinary team can accommodate low-sodium, kosher, vegetarian, gluten-free, or other allergen-controlled diets. Three meals plus healthy snacks are available each day, with registered dietitians aligning menus to individual care plans, including those for diabetes management. Residents choose between restaurant-style seating and convenient take-away options to match their schedules.
Community life is supported by an activity center, organized clubs, a library and computer lounge, and structured health and wellness programs that include arts and crafts workshops. Routine transportation and event scheduling are handled by staff to encourage participation and social connection.
