Drake Terrace offers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—on the same campus. Independent Living residents maintain an active lifestyle with access to supportive services as needed. Assisted Living adds help with activities of daily living, while Memory Care is designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and includes structured programming and a secure setting.
The community is a secured campus, and licensed nurses are on site to oversee medication management, incontinence care, and ongoing assessments. Residents can receive ambulatory care, hospice support, diabetes monitoring, and therapy services from speech, occupational, and physical therapists. A podiatrist visits regularly, and staff members are trained to respond to the unique needs of Memory Care residents.
Accommodations range from studios to larger apartments, some with kitchenettes, private decks, or balconies. Features such as wheelchair-accessible showers, handicap-friendly layouts, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable or satellite TV hookups, and covered parking are available, although not every unit has every feature. Common spaces include outdoor areas with raised planters, a central fireplace, piano, and multiple seating areas; pets are welcome in designated areas subject to community guidelines.
Dining is offered restaurant-style with a professional chef preparing three daily meals plus snacks. The kitchen supports specialized diets including low-sodium, no-sugar, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and international options, and residents may choose all-day dining hours. Guests can join for meals, and special menus accommodate holiday events and private celebrations.
Residents have access to fitness programs, an outdoor swimming pool, a library and computer lounge, and an activity center that hosts karaoke, live music, birthday parties, happy hours, and scheduled social outings. Gardening enthusiasts can use the raised beds, and transportation is arranged for shopping, appointments, and cultural events.
