Xxxgarden Hill Care Home offers three levels of licensed care—Assisted Living, Residential Care and dedicated Memory Care. The team is equipped to handle residents who wander at any hour, manage complex wound care, oversee oxygen therapy and accommodate physician-ordered special diets. Both oral and injectable diabetic regimens are monitored in-house, and the staff is trained to work with advanced dementia conditions, allowing residents to remain in place as needs change.
Clinical oversight includes an RN or LPN on site, with a nurse on call around the clock. Background-screened caregivers cover an asleep night shift, and the building is secured with perimeter fencing, door alarms and in-room pull cords that go directly to staff. A visiting podiatrist handles routine foot care. Residents who need full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating or toileting receive hands-on help, and transfers range from walker support to two-person or bed-bound lifts to reduce fall risk.
Private and semi-private rooms can be personalized; residents may repaint or bring décor that meets safety guidelines, and cable service is available in many—but not all—units. Independent Living residents who wish to age in place can add medication management and monitoring without moving to a higher level of care, giving them an extra layer of safety while retaining autonomy.
Meals are prepared on site, and residents order from a daily menu that supports physician-prescribed diets such as low-sugar, low-sodium or textured-modified options. Staff is available to provide full assistance with feeding when needed, and snacks are stocked throughout the day to help maintain healthy blood-sugar levels and hydration.
The community’s common areas include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible walkways, a barber and beauty salon, internet access points and landscaped communal gardens. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
