Royal Vista Assisted Living and Memory Care provides both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programming built to accommodate residents living with early to advanced dementia. The team is equipped to manage residents who wander during the day or night, present elopement risk, show combative or other challenging behaviors, or remain awake through the night. Nurses monitor wound care needs, oxygen use, and blood-glucose levels for residents on oral diabetic medications, and meals can be tailored to special diets as ordered by physicians.
Medical oversight is supported by an RN or LPN on every shift, an awake night staff, and routine visits from an on-site podiatrist. All employees undergo background checks, and the campus maintains 24-hour staffing, door alarms, and a fenced rear area to reduce exit risk. Caregivers can supply full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained for a wide range of mobility supports—including walker and wheelchair help, standby supervision, one- and two-person lifts, full Hoyer transfers, and services for residents who are bed-bound. An activity director coordinates daily engagement suited to each resident’s abilities.
Private and semi-private suites are available; some include their own bathrooms, basic furnishings, cable hookups, and the option to paint or decorate the space. Because room features vary, families are encouraged to confirm which amenities are included in the specific apartment under consideration.
Dining follows an on-order system that lets residents select meals at the time of service. Between meals, snacks are always accessible. The kitchen team works closely with nursing to provide texture modifications, no-added-salt menus, carbohydrate-controlled plates, and other specialized nutritional plans ordered by physicians.
Residents have access to off-street parking, barrier-free common areas, a barber and beauty salon, a dedicated movie room, a wellness center, and landscaped communal gardens. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments, shopping, and local events; additional rides can often be arranged with notice.
