Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill offers three levels of residency—Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living—supported by a broad clinical program. The community is equipped to assist residents who wander at any time of day, present elopement risks, stay up all night or rely on oxygen therapy. Specialized meal planning accommodates everything from low-sugar menus for diabetics on oral medications, injections or sliding-scale insulin, to other physician-ordered diets. Care teams are trained to manage advanced dementia, and licensed nurses oversee medication administration and ongoing health assessments for all residents.
The facility maintains a licensed nurse on site or on call around the clock, with an awake night staff, background-checked caregivers, and multiple security systems including fenced perimeters, alarmed doors, wander-guard technology and in-room pull cords. On-site services extend to memory-support programming, incontinence and ambulatory care, dental and podiatry visits, physical and occupational therapy, hospice coordination and full medication management. Residents who need hands-on help receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting, and the team can perform mobility support ranging from standby aid with a walker to one- or two-person transfers and Hoyer-lift repositioning.
Accommodations range from studios to larger apartments. Some units feature a private bathroom, others add a kitchenette, and all can be personalized with residents’ own paint colors and décor; cable service is also available in select layouts. Because not every floor plan includes every amenity, families are encouraged to review options during a tour to match the right apartment to the resident’s needs and budget.
Dining services provide three daily meals with a fixed menu plus an on-order option for added choice, and snacks are accessible throughout the day. The culinary team works closely with clinical staff to modify textures, control sodium or tailor carbohydrate counts for diabetics. Independent Living residents benefit from medication-management monitoring while also receiving weekly housekeeping and laundry, allowing them to stay self-reliant without juggling routine chores.
Community amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty salon, fitness and wellness rooms, a dedicated movie theater, high-speed internet, communal gardens, on-site religious services, landline hook-ups and both scheduled transportation and easy access to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
