Wesley Palms offers Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care, allowing residents to transition between levels of support without leaving the community. Care teams manage conditions such as wandering (day or night), elopement risk, combativeness, behavioral issues, advanced dementia, wound care needs, oxygen therapy, special diets, and diabetes controlled with oral medication. Younger adults under 60 who need support are also accepted. Regular visits from podiatry professionals are available, and the community is open to residents with psychiatric diagnoses.
Clinical oversight is provided by on-site RNs and LPNs around the clock, with an awake night shift and 24-hour security ensuring immediate response when the pull-cord or personal emergency response system is activated. Doors are alarmed to protect residents who wander, and background-checked staff can give full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting. Transfers using walkers, wheelchairs or standby help are accommodated, and an activities director coordinates structured programs to keep residents engaged.
Apartments vary by size and layout; some feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, individual climate controls and cable service, while others offer a subset of these options. Residents may personalize their spaces with paint and décor, subject to community guidelines. Independent Living occupants can add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, laundry service and a monthly meal plan so they can age in place without changing apartments.
Dining services prepare meals to order, with snacks available throughout the day and diet modifications—including diabetic, low-sodium and texture-adjusted menus—implemented as prescribed. Those needing help at mealtime receive hands-on assistance to maintain adequate nutrition.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, outdoor smoking areas, communal gardens, an exercise room, wellness center, therapy pool with adjacent pool and jacuzzi, a movie room, on-site religious services, a barber and beauty shop, and campus-wide internet access. The community is pet-friendly; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments, shopping and social outings.
