The care team is trained to manage wandering, elopement risk, behavioral concerns, diabetes managed by either oral medication or insulin, and the needs of residents younger than 60. On-site podiatry visits are available, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses, coordinating closely with outside clinicians when needed. All medical oversight is delivered within a secure setting where licensed staff monitor health changes and respond around the clock.

Daily support extends to full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting. Transfers are accommodated at every level, whether a resident uses a walker, relies on wheelchair mobility, needs standby help, requires one- or two-person lifts, or benefits from a Hoyer lift. Background-checked staff remain awake overnight, doors are alarmed, and the perimeter is fenced to reduce exit-seeking incidents. An activity director is on site to adapt programs to each resident’s abilities, and 24-hour staffing ensures help is immediate.

Residences vary in layout and amenities, and not every room includes every feature. Private bathrooms, individual climate controls, cable connections, and the option to paint or decorate are available in select units. Housekeeping is provided, and scheduled laundry service takes care of personal items, allowing residents to focus on daily routines rather than chores.

Meals are prepared to order, and snacks are offered throughout the day. The kitchen can accommodate physician-ordered or preference-based diets, including gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chopped, and puréed textures. Staff provide hand-over-hand cueing or full feeding assistance when needed, helping residents maintain adequate nutrition while honoring their dietary restrictions.

Residents and visitors move easily through wheelchair-accessible common areas that include a barber and beauty shop, internet access points, and landscaped communal gardens. Concierge services help arrange appointments, while scheduled transportation connects residents to medical offices and local outings.
