Sherry’s RCFE Senior Living is licensed for both Assisted Living and Residential Care Home services, making it suitable for older adults who need daily support but do not require skilled nursing. Medical oversight is in place for residents who are up at night, need ongoing wound care, or manage diabetes with oral medications. The community does not provide specialized programming for dementia, so prospective residents should have stable cognitive health.
Round-the-clock staffing is confirmed by background-checked team members, an awake night shift, and 24-hour on-site security; the rear of the property is fenced for added safety. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from standby help for those who walk with a cane to one- or two-person transfers and services for residents who are bed-bound. Equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs is accommodated.
Private and semi-private rooms are available furnished, and residents may paint or decorate their space if they wish. Some but not all rooms feature 10-foot ceilings and ceiling fans. Housekeeping is completed regularly, and laundry is handled on a set schedule, keeping personal spaces clean without resident effort.
Meals are prepared to order, and the kitchen can modify textures and diets, including mechanical-chopped foods and thickened liquids. Between meals, staff set out snacks so residents have access to additional nourishment without waiting for scheduled dining times.
Common-area amenities include wheelchair-accessible paths, a dedicated movie room, high-speed internet access, and security cameras that supplement staff rounds. Scheduled transportation is limited to medical appointments, with a shuttle available for these trips.
