Gramercy Court delivers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programming and supervision geared to residents who wander, may attempt elopement, stay awake at night, or live with moderate dementia. Nurses monitor wound care, oxygen use, special diets, and oral-medication diabetes management, and the community can admit adults under 60 when clinically appropriate.
An RN or LPN is on site weekdays and on call around the clock, and caregivers remain awake through the night. All staff complete background checks, doors are alarmed, and a fenced rear courtyard helps prevent unsupervised exits. Residents summon help through pull cords or personal emergency response systems. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, and toileting, with some help for meals. Transfers are accommodated whether a resident walks independently, uses a walker or wheelchair, or needs one- or two-person lift support. Podiatry visits the campus, and a dedicated therapy room allows on-site physical rehabilitation.
Apartment layouts vary, but many offer private bathrooms, individual climate controls, cable connections, and the option to paint or decorate. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are included, though not every unit contains every feature, so families should verify details during a tour.
Dining offers a set menu at regular meals along with an on-order option for personal preferences. Mechanical soft, chopped, puréed, thickened-liquid, vegetarian, and other physician-ordered diets are prepared in-house. Snacks are available throughout the day, and tray service can be arranged for residents who prefer or require in-room dining.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-friendly common spaces, a barber and beauty salon, movie room, wellness center, internet, communal gardens, concierge desk, library, special-interest clubs, paved walking paths, pet visitation programs, and scheduled transportation in a town car.
