Eastern Manor offers three levels of long-term care—assisted living, residential care home, and dedicated memory care—allowing residents to remain on the same campus even if their needs change. The clinical program addresses behavioral issues, oxygen therapy, special diets, and both oral and injection-managed diabetes. Staff members are trained to support advanced dementia, and the community can coordinate with outside providers for additional medical services as required.
Daily care is delivered by an awake night shift and 24-hour staff who monitor a fenced property with door alarms on all exits. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to two-person or Hoyer lift support, and the team is prepared to care for residents who are bed bound. The community also arranges transportation to physician appointments or outpatient therapies.
Private and semi-private rooms can be requested furnished and may include cable service. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided, but individual rooms may not offer every listed feature; availability depends on the specific unit selected and current occupancy.
Meals are prepared on site, with options for in-room dining or family-style service in the common dining area. The kitchen staff can modify textures to mechanical chop, purée, or thickened liquids and will accommodate vegetarian or other physician-ordered diets. Light snacks are stocked and accessible throughout the day.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-friendly paths, a movie room, internet service, and communal gardens. Pets are allowed, but it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
