Comforts of Home – Greenhaven delivers traditional assisted-living care aimed at helping residents maintain health and day-to-day stability. Licensed staff members oversee medication management, schedule and track physician appointments, and maintain round-the-clock availability for routine or urgent needs. Assistance with activities of daily living—such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility—is provided according to each resident’s individual care plan. On-site caregivers monitor vital signs, manage chronic conditions like diabetes, and coordinate with outside therapists, home-health nurses, or hospice agencies when necessary.
Beyond direct medical supervision, the community offers safety and wellness services intended to reduce hospital visits and promote regular monitoring. Residents have access to an emergency call system, fall-prevention checks, and scheduled wellness assessments. Transportation to medical specialists, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers is arranged by the staff. Structured exercise sessions, cognitive-stimulation activities, and health education programs are organized to encourage adherence to physician-recommended routines and to help residents preserve functional independence.
Accommodation options include private and companion rooms, each equipped with basic furnishings, individual climate controls, and an emergency response pull cord or pendant. Some units offer en-suite half-baths, step-in showers, or additional storage, but not all accommodations have all these features. Housekeeping and personal laundry are completed on a scheduled basis, and maintenance staff handle routine repairs. Common areas such as living rooms, activity rooms, and outdoor seating areas are available for daily use and family visits.
Dining services provide three daily meals and scheduled snacks prepared in the on-site kitchen. A registered dietitian reviews menus to ensure nutritional compliance, and modifications are available for residents requiring low-sodium, diabetic, mechanical-soft, or other physician-ordered diets. Staff are present in the dining room to assist residents who need help cutting food, monitoring intake, or following fluid restrictions. Room-service trays can be arranged during short-term illness, although this option is not automatically included with every accommodation type.
