Brookdale Mirage Inn offers two levels of care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—so residents with daily support needs or moderate dementia can remain on the same campus as their requirements change. The community is prepared to manage a wide range of clinical conditions, including day- or night-time wandering, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, chronic wound care, oxygen therapy, special diets, diabetes managed by oral medication, injections, or sliding scale insulin, and residents who are under 60 years old.
Around-the-clock licensed nursing staff, secured entrances, and 24-hour line-of-sight staffing help maintain consistent oversight. In addition to 12-16 hours of on-site nursing coverage each day, residents have scheduled access to occupational and physical therapists, a wellness center, wound care services, podiatry, dental and hospice providers, and medication management. Full-assist support is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and the team can accommodate transfers ranging from standby help to two-person or Hoyer lift care for bed-bound residents. An enclosed courtyard offers added safety for those in Memory Care.
Apartments feature private bathrooms and a kitchenette for light meal preparation, though layouts and features vary so not every unit includes the same amenities. Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance are handled by staff, freeing residents to focus on social activities or therapy schedules.
Three chef-prepared meals are served daily with all-day dining options for those who prefer flexible hours. Menus can be modified for low-sodium, vegetarian, kosher, gluten-free, or other physician-ordered diets, and a private dining room is available for family gatherings. A coffee shop and guest meal program make it easier for visitors to join residents without interrupting clinical routines.
Residents can take advantage of on-site conveniences such as a pool, exercise room, movie theater, pub, arts and crafts studio, library, game room, café/bistro, barber and beauty shop, pharmacy, internet access, concierge services, communal gardens, and resident parking. Pets are allowed; it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Flat-screen TVs in common areas support group activities, and regular religious services are held on site.
