Pacifica Senior Living Oakland Heights provides both Assisted Living and Independent Living. Assisted Living residents receive support with bathing, dressing, medication management, and other activities of daily living, while Independent Living residents live with minimal assistance and can easily add services if needs change. Both care levels share access to on-site wellness resources and social activities.
Clinical and safety measures are in place around the clock. Licensed staff are on site 24 hours a day, and an emergency call system connects residents to help at any time. Short-term respite stays are available, as is rehabilitation through on-site physical therapy. The community also offers diabetes management and maintains secured entrances and exits to help protect residents who may wander.
Apartments range from studio and efficiency layouts to units with kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and independent temperature controls. Select residences include balconies, patios, or decks, and all have central air conditioning and cable or satellite TV access. Wheelchair-accessible showers and other handicap-accessible features are available in designated units. Housekeeping, laundry, parking, and landscaped outdoor areas—including gardens and walking paths—are provided, and the community is pet friendly, although not every apartment has every listed feature.
Dining follows an all-day, restaurant-style approach with meals prepared by a professional chef. Menus can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, no-sugar, and organic preferences. Residents may order food as needed and can invite guests for meals. Healthy snacks are available throughout the day.
Residents have access to a library and computer lounge, an activity center, clubs, live music, karaoke, arts and crafts, yoga and fitness programs, indoor walking paths, social outings, happy hours, birthday parties, dances, intergenerational programs, raised garden beds, TV and movie nights, and a swimming pool. Walking paths and wellness classes support daily exercise and social engagement in the community.
