Dimond Care is licensed for assisted living and is equipped to manage residents who wander during either the morning or evening, require oxygen therapy, follow special diets, or live with diabetes managed by oral medication or insulin injections. Staff are trained to work with advanced dementia, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric conditions.
Security and staffing measures include full background checks, both awake and asleep night shifts, an activity director, and 24-hour staff coverage. The grounds are enclosed front and rear, exterior doors are alarmed, and WanderGuard technology and pull-cord alerts are in place. Caregivers can provide complete assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfers are supported for residents who use a walker or wheelchair and for those who need standby help, a one-person lift, or a two-person transfer.
Private rooms with in-suite baths are available, and basic cable can be provided; not every accommodation has every feature, so it is best to confirm during a tour.
Meals are served from a set menu three times a day, with snacks available between meals. The kitchen can adjust textures, portion sizes, and ingredients to meet physician-ordered dietary modifications. Independent-living residents have access to medication-management oversight and weekly laundry service if they choose those options.
Residents may park on site, smoke in designated outdoor areas, and keep pets; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. The building is wheelchair accessible and offers an on-site barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a movie room, internet access, regular religious services, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit.
