Belmare Senior Living offers assisted-living services designed to support residents who need help with daily activities while maintaining as much independence as possible. Trained caregivers are on duty around the clock to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and continence care. Licensed nurses oversee medication management, perform routine health checks, and coordinate with residents’ physicians to keep care plans current. An on-site emergency response system alerts staff immediately if a resident needs urgent attention, and scheduled visits from primary care doctors, physical therapists, and other specialists help residents manage chronic conditions without leaving the community.
Beyond hands-on medical support, the community provides structured wellness programs that include fall-prevention exercises, cognitive activities, and chronic disease education. Staff schedule and accompany residents to outside medical appointments, arrange lab draws and pharmacy deliveries, and handle transportation to local specialists. Short-term respite stays are available for those recovering from hospitalization or for family caregivers who need a break. Hospice coordination is offered when appropriate, allowing residents to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving end-of-life care.
Accommodations at Belmare Senior Living include studio, one-bedroom, and companion suites. Each residence features emergency call systems, barrier-free bathrooms with grab bars, individual climate controls, and weekly housekeeping and laundry service. Select units add kitchenettes, private patios, or upgraded flooring, but not all accommodations have all the features mentioned. Pets are allowed in designated apartments, and it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
Residents receive three daily meals in a communal dining room where servers bring plates directly to the table. Menus rotate on a seasonal schedule and are supervised by a registered dietitian to support standard, diabetic, low-sodium, and texture-modified diets. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day, and trays can be delivered to apartments when a resident is under the weather. Family members are welcome to join meals for a modest fee, and periodic food councils give residents a say in upcoming menu selections.
