Gardens at Northridge offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, giving residents access to two levels of licensed support under one roof. The community is equipped to help individuals who wander during the day or night and those who remain up throughout the night. Nurses—both RNs and LPNs—are on‐site around the clock, and a 24-hour security staff monitors the property. Residents with advanced dementia can remain in place thanks to on-site hospice, medication management, and an enclosed courtyard designed for safe outdoor access.
Additional clinical services include wound care, diabetic monitoring, occupational and physical therapy, podiatry, ambulatory and incontinence care, and resident and family counseling. Full-assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and staff can accommodate walker, wheelchair, standby, and one-person transfers. Hospice services can be brought in when needed, allowing residents to age in place without relocating for end-of-life care.
Apartments are designed for practical comfort. Some units have a private bathroom, and many are wired for cable; availability varies, so families should verify specific features during a tour. Layouts support easy mobility for walkers or wheelchairs.
Meals follow a set menu that can be adjusted for physician-ordered diets or personal preferences. Staff oversee nutrition management to align with diabetic or other medical needs, and assistance with eating is provided for residents who require it.
Residents have access to on-site parking, a barber and beauty shop, movie room, wellness center, internet, communal gardens, daily check-in, concierge services, arts and crafts studio, walking paths, private dining room, postal services, meeting rooms, library, greenhouse, fireside living room, flat-screen TVs, planned social events, a piano, a rentable community room, and scheduled transportation. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
