The team is also trained to support individuals with mild dementia, offering cueing and redirection within a secure environment.

Direct care is delivered by staff who have passed background checks, are on site 24 hours with an awake night shift, and can be reached through room pull cords or each resident’s personal emergency response system. The building features alarmed doors and a fenced rear area for added safety. Residents may receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as partial help with eating. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to hands-on one-person transfers for walkers and wheelchairs, promoting safe mobility while encouraging independence.

Apartments feature private bathrooms, individual temperature controls, cable hookup, and the option to personalize the space with décor or paint, although not every unit includes every feature. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are included to minimize daily chores and maintain a clean environment.

Dining is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. so residents can eat on their own schedule, with snacks always on hand and the ability to order meals to the apartment when desired. A private dining room accommodates family events, and the kitchen can provide catered menus or physician-prescribed diet modifications such as mechanical-chopped, puréed, thickened-liquid, vegetarian, or other restricted plans.

The campus offers wheelchair-accessible indoor and outdoor lounges, a movie room, TV lounge, wellness center, brain fitness lab, bistro, ice cream parlor, communal gardens, and on-site religious services. Residents can book the barber/beauty shop, join special-interest clubs, or arrange Townecar transportation for appointments and monthly outings.
