Sierra View Manor provides assisted-living care with attention to residents who wander during the day or night, require wound care, supplemental oxygen, special diets, or oral-medication diabetes management. The community accepts individuals with mild dementia and is able to coordinate care plans that balance oversight with autonomy.
Clinical oversight is reinforced by an RN or LPN on staff, background-checked caregivers, and an awake night shift. Residents summon help by pull cord or personal emergency response system, and a fenced rear area supports safe outdoor access for those prone to exit seeking. A visiting podiatrist handles foot care. Team members can give full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they are trained to support walkers, wheelchairs, supervised ambulation, and one-person transfers. An activity director schedules daily programming.
Accommodations range from standard rooms to suites; not every unit includes every feature, but options may include a private bathroom, independent climate control, cable, switch lighting, and the ability to paint or decorate. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided so residents do not need to manage those tasks on their own.
Meals are cooked from scratch and served on a set menu with breakfast from 8:30–9:30, lunch from 12:30–1:30, and dinner from 5:30–6:30. Snacks are available between meals, and residents may request in-room dining. The kitchen can honor diet modifications such as mechanical-chopped, puréed, thickened liquids, vegetarian, and other physician-ordered plans.
Amenities on the grounds include wheelchair-accessible pathways, a barber and beauty shop, internet access, communal gardens with established greenery, special-interest clubs, a pamper parlor, live music events, patio seating, a piano, a TV room, and scheduled transportation for errands and appointments. The community is family-owned, which can streamline decision-making and service adjustments.
