The Harvest at Fowler provides two levels of residency: Assisted Living for individuals who need help with daily activities and Memory Care for those experiencing Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. Both programs are designed so residents can move between service levels without leaving the community, maintaining continuity of care and familiar surroundings.
On-site medical resources are organized to address routine and complex needs. Licensed nurses oversee diabetes management, while a speech therapist is available for communication or swallowing concerns. The community is fully secured to protect residents who may wander. Additional services include incontinence care, ambulatory assistance, medication management, hospice coordination, and regular visits from occupational and physical therapists as well as a podiatrist. Designated Memory Care areas operate with staff trained exclusively in dementia support techniques.
Apartments and suites vary in layout and equipment. Many offer Wi-Fi, cable or satellite TV hookups, individual climate control, step-free access, and views of outdoor areas, and a community piano or organ is available in shared spaces. Parking is on site for residents and guests. Not all accommodations contain every listed feature, so specific needs should be reviewed during a tour.
The kitchen prepares three meals daily and accommodates common dietary directives. Menus can be ordered vegetarian, gluten-free, low or no sodium, or no added sugar, and families may schedule guest meals to dine with residents. Communal dining encourages social interaction while allowing staff to observe and support nutritional intake.
Amenities and recreational services include an activity center, a library and computer lounge, organized social outings, and special-interest clubs. Fitness programming is offered in the gym, on indoor walking paths, along outdoor walking paths, and in the swimming pool. Residents can tend raised garden beds, join reminiscence programs, attend live music performances, and celebrate birthday parties. Outdoor areas are secured but remain open so residents are allowed outdoors whenever weather and care plans permit.
