Orchard Park Senior Living offers two levels of care: Assisted Living for residents who need help with daily activities and Memory Care for those living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. Both programs are designed to adjust as needs change, allowing residents to stay in one community even if their care requirements increase.
The community maintains an emergency call system, a 24-hour security presence, a secured perimeter for Memory Care, and a full sprinkler system. On-site clinical resources include nurses, medication management, diabetic oversight, wound care, hospice coordination, occupational and physical therapy, and podiatry. Short-term respite stays are accepted, giving families a break or providing a transitional option after hospitalization.
Apartments range from studio and efficiency layouts to units that can accommodate wheelchairs with accessible showers. Select residences feature washers and dryers, flat-screen cable TV, central air, Wi-Fi access, and porch or patio space. Outdoor walking paths, gardens, and landscaped grounds encourage residents to spend time outside, and housekeeping and parking are available. Not every apartment includes every listed feature, so prospective residents should confirm specific details during a tour.
Daily meals are prepared on site, with options for vegetarian, kosher, gluten-free, low-sodium, and other physician-ordered diets. Guests may join residents for meals, making it easier to maintain social connections. The dining program is designed to balance nutrition requirements common in older adults with the flavors and portion sizes residents prefer.
Residents can take part in clubs, social outings, arts and crafts sessions in a dedicated studio, yoga classes, wellness programs, and walking groups that make use of the community’s outdoor paths. A piano and activity center provide additional gathering spots, and the staff schedules regular events to help residents stay engaged.
