Claremont Place provides two levels of long-term support: Assisted Living for residents who need help with daily tasks and Memory Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Staff members are prepared to monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes, and a speech therapist is available for residents who need help with communication or swallowing issues related to stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or other diagnoses.
The community is secured to reduce the risk of wandering and to promote resident safety. A licensed nurse is on-site for routine health monitoring and clinical oversight, while occupational and physical therapists design individualized rehabilitation plans. Medication management, incontinence care, and ambulatory assistance are offered daily, and visiting specialists such as a podiatrist help residents stay on track with preventive care. Hospice services are available when needed, and the Memory Care program incorporates structured routines and cueing techniques designed to reduce anxiety and confusion.
Apartments can include features such as wheelchair-accessible showers, kitchenettes, Wi-Fi, individual climate control, and views of the outdoor areas, although not every unit has every feature. Common areas include a central fireplace, piano or organ for resident use, multiple outdoor courtyards, and on-site parking. The building is fully handicap accessible to support residents who use walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.
Meals are prepared by a professional chef and served restaurant-style, with an all-day dining option for residents who prefer flexible schedules. The kitchen can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, low-sodium, and no-sugar meal plans, and guest meals are available for visiting family members. Menu cycles include international dishes to add variety. Hydration stations and snacks remain accessible between meal periods.
Residents have access to an activity center, library and computer lounge, raised garden beds, outdoor walking paths, and a swimming pool. Scheduled programming includes yoga or chair yoga, fitness classes, live music, karaoke, happy hour, birthday parties, dances, social outings, and intergenerational events. Clubs, Montessori-based programs, and other interest groups provide additional structure for social engagement and lifelong learning.
