Belmont Village Calabasas offers two primary levels of care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—designed to adjust as residents’ needs change. The community also accepts individuals who need respite or other short-term stays and supports residents managing diabetes. A secured environment is in place to help protect those who may be at risk of wandering, a feature especially important for Memory Care residents.
On-site medical services are structured to minimize outside appointments and keep care consistent. Hospice coordination is available when needed, and the building is laid out to accommodate memory loss with clear wayfinding and monitored access points. Residents have access to occupational and physical therapists, incontinence and ambulatory support, medication management, and regular visits from a podiatrist. Staff members are trained for Memory Care best practices and are present around the clock.
Apartments vary in size and layout, offering options such as kitchenettes, balconies or patios, and wheelchair-accessible showers, though not every unit includes every feature. All residences are air-conditioned and wired for cable or satellite TV and Wi-Fi, and select units overlook outdoor areas or the central deck. Common spaces include a fireplace lounge, piano area, and several pet-friendly spots both indoors and outside; parking is available for residents and visitors.
Meals are prepared by a professional chef and served restaurant-style three times a day, with accommodations for vegetarian preferences, no-sugar menus, and low-sodium diets. Residents may invite guests for meals, and snacks or alternative entrées can be arranged when requested.
Residents can use an activity center, library and computer lounge, and a fitness area with organized programs. Outdoor walking paths, raised garden beds, and a swimming pool encourage physical activity, while clubs, social outings, intergenerational programs, live music, dances, happy hours, and birthday celebrations support social engagement.
