Westmont of Brentwood delivers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—under one roof. The community is equipped to manage oxygen therapy, residents under 60, and diabetic care for both oral medications and insulin injections. Its Memory Care neighborhood accepts residents with advanced dementia and is designed specifically to accommodate memory loss, providing consistent routines and cueing techniques.
Clinical oversight is anchored by an RN/LPN, a 24-hour on-site nurse, night-shift staff who remain awake, and a robust pull-cord or PERS alert system tied directly to caregivers. On-site services include medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, hospice, psychiatry, and therapy services from occupational, physical, and podiatry specialists. Bathing and dressing assistance can be provided at the full-assist level, while eating help is available with some physical assistance. Toileting support ranges up to full assist as well. Transfer help covers walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, and both one-person and two-person transfers. A secured perimeter and fenced rear yard support resident safety.
Accommodation options vary; some suites offer private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, individual climate controls, cable service, and permission to paint or decorate, while other layouts include only a portion of these features. Residents may bring personal furniture if preferred.
Dining includes set menus, on-order alternatives, snacks throughout the day, and physician-directed diet modifications. Independent Living residents have access to medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, and a monthly meal plan that can be upgraded if greater dining support becomes necessary.
Community amenities extend to resident parking, designated outdoor smoking areas, a barber/beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, a library, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
