The Ranch Estates of Tucson provides both Assisted Living and Memory Care, including care for residents with advanced dementia. The clinical team can manage wandering behaviors day or night, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, and residents who stay up all night. Medical support extends to wound care, oxygen management, specialized diets, and diabetes care—whether the resident uses oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. The community also accepts residents under 60 years old.
An RN or LPN is on staff, a nurse is on-site around the clock, and another nurse remains on call 24/7. All employees undergo background checks, and both awake and asleep night-shift staff are in place. The property is secured with door alarms, a fenced perimeter, WanderGuard technology, and resident pull-cords that alert staff. On-site podiatry is available, and the community accepts residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Caregivers can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby support and single-person assists to two-person transfers, Hoyer-lift moves, and bed-bound care.
Apartments vary in layout and features. Some units include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and independent temperature controls, while others may be more basic. Most come furnished, but residents may bring personal items and may paint or decorate the space. Cable service is available, but not every accommodation has every listed feature.
Meals are served three times a day with both fixed menus and made-to-order options. Snacks are available between meals, and the culinary staff can handle physician-ordered diet modifications or resident-requested preferences without difficulty.
Resident parking, outside smoking areas, and wheelchair-accessible common spaces are part of daily life. There is on-site transportation, an exercise room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, a barber/beauty shop, and regular religious services. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
