Fellowship Square Tucson offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, enabling residents to choose the level of support that matches their needs. For those who require closer supervision, staff are trained to care for residents who wander during the day or night, have a history of elopement, present combative or other behavioral issues, stay awake overnight, or live with advanced dementia. Clinical support also covers wound care, oxygen therapy, special diets, and diabetes management—whether by oral medication, injections, or sliding scale. Individuals under 60 years of age who need these services are accepted as well.
Round-the-clock safety measures include on-site staff, an awake night shift, 24-hour security, door alarms, and a fenced rear area. A registered nurse or LPN is on staff, and a nurse is on call at all times. Background-checked caregivers assist with full-service bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating, and they perform incontinence and ambulatory care. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available, along with on-site dental and podiatry visits. Residents can be supported with walkers, wheelchairs, standby assist, one- or two-person transfers, full transfers with a Hoyer lift, or care while bedbound. An activity director coordinates structured programs that align with residents’ cognitive and physical abilities.
Accommodation options range from furnished suites with private bathrooms to rooms that residents can personalize with paint and décor. Many offer independent temperature controls, cable service, regular housekeeping, and scheduled laundry, though not every unit includes each feature. Independent Living residents receive medication-management monitoring, housekeeping, and laundry services, and may select a monthly meal plan while continuing to live with greater autonomy.
Dining is structured around both set menus and made-to-order selections, with snacks available throughout the day. In-room dining and a private dining room can be arranged. The culinary team accommodates gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chop, puréed, and thickened-liquid diets, as well as physician-ordered modifications. Special diets are overseen in coordination with nursing staff to ensure medical needs are met.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, internet access, communal gardens, a library, a pool, special-interest clubs, and regular religious services. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments and local destinations, and outdoor smoking areas are designated for those who need them.
