Woodmark at Sun City offers three levels of residency—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so that residents can move in with the confidence that their changing needs can be accommodated on one campus. Specialized medical oversight is in place for residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk of elopement, remain awake overnight, or need wound care, oxygen therapy, or diabetes management with oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. The community is also prepared to assist individuals living with advanced dementia, and care plans are adjusted quickly as clinical needs evolve.
Around-the-clock support is anchored by licensed nurses on site and an RN or LPN on call 24 hours a day. All staff undergo background checks, and an awake night shift monitors safety in real time. Residents can alert caregivers through in-room pull cords and optional personal emergency response systems, and fenced outdoor areas provide an added layer of security. A visiting podiatrist handles routine foot care on campus. Full assistance is available with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and the team can manage transfers ranging from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound residents.
Living arrangements include suites and apartments that may feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to personalize wall colors and décor; not every unit has every feature, so prospective residents should verify availability. Meals are prepared to order three times daily, and snacks are kept on hand between meals for residents who need small, frequent servings or simply prefer flexible dining times.
Independent Living residents can add housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan to their lease, allowing them to tailor services to their own routines while still enjoying the campus amenities and social opportunities.
Residents and their guests have access to on-site parking, designated outdoor smoking areas, and wheelchair-accessible common spaces. The community welcomes small pets; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. A barber and beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, and regular religious services are all available without leaving the property. Scheduled transportation is offered for off-site appointments and errands.
