Grandview Terrace Continuing Care Retirement Community delivers three levels of care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—under one roof. Licensed nurses are on site around the clock, handling medication management, chronic-condition monitoring, glucose testing, wound care, and coordination with physicians. Certified caregivers help with bathing, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living for Assisted Living residents, while a secured, purpose-built Memory Care neighborhood provides structured programming and behavioral oversight for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Residents who remain in Independent Living may transition to higher levels of support without leaving the campus, allowing continuity in medical oversight and record keeping.
Beyond daily medical services, the community maintains an on-site clinic for primary care visits, laboratory draws, and preventive screenings. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available through an in-house rehabilitation team, and care plans are updated through regular interdisciplinary meetings that include nurses, therapists, and social workers. An emergency call system links every apartment to staff who are trained in first aid and CPR, and transportation is provided for off-site specialist appointments or hospital follow-ups. Short-term respite stays, hospice coordination, and post-acute rehabilitation can be arranged, offering flexibility for families and residents as health needs change.
Accommodation options include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments as well as larger casitas. Depending on the floor plan, units may feature private patios, full kitchens, in-unit laundry, walk-in closets, and attached garages; not all accommodations have all the features mentioned. Every residence comes with individually controlled heating and air conditioning, basic cable, Wi-Fi access, weekly housekeeping, and an emergency pull-cord system. Maintenance services handle all interior and exterior repairs so residents can focus on daily activities and social programs.
Dining at Grandview Terrace centers on choice and nutritional oversight. Three meals a day are prepared by professional culinary staff, with menu options that can be modified for low-sodium, diabetic, heart-healthy, or other physician-ordered diets. Multiple venues—including a main dining room, casual bistro, and grab-and-go market—allow residents to eat on their own schedule, and room service is offered for those who prefer to dine in their apartment. Memory Care residents receive hand-over-hand assistance, adaptive utensils, and a calm dining environment to promote adequate nutrition and hydration.
